John Keells X – Open Day

The “Open Day” of John Keells X, the Open Innovation Challenge was held on Monday September 5th 2016 at the Earls Court at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.

The 10 finalists of John Keells X, which was announced the previous week on social media, introduced themselves at this event.

The Open Day also included two panel discussions. The first was moderated by Ramesh Shanmuganathan, CIO of John Keells Holdings PLC and the panellists were Deputy Chairman of JKH Mr. Ajit Gunewardene, Group Finance Director of JKH Mr. Ronnie Peiris and President of the Leisure Sector of John Keells Group Mr. Krishan Balendra.

The second panel discussion was moderated by Mr. Indi Samarajiva, Director of Keells Foods PLC and founder of YAMU.lk. the panellists were Ruwindhu Peiris – Managing Director of STAX and General Secretary of SLASSCOM, Mr. Muhunthan Canagey – Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of ICTA and Mr. Dumith Fernando, Chairman LAN – Lanka Angel Network, Executive Chairman at Asia Securities.
